Description


In 2012, Sumitomo announces the release of the T-71C+, the new optical heart-to-heart alignment welding machine.
Resistant, fast and portable, it saves time and optimises the deployment of optical networks.

The Sumitomo fusion splicer machine is a 3-axis alignment welding machine.
Thanks to its core-to-core welding technology, it can carry out splices quickly and with an average loss of 0.020. Splicer is carried out in a maximum of 7 seconds and its 2 ovens reduce waiting time (ideal for large welding capacities). Unlike some other fibre welders, the life of its electrodes can be up to 3000 welds.
Sumitomo's T-71C welding machine ensures compliance with IP5 and IP2 moisture and dust tightness standards. It can withstand extreme conditions (up to 50°C, or at an altitude of 6,000 m). In addition, the T-71C+ welder has an SD card reader and works with cards up to 16GB.
